Golden Bay is a symphony of sky, sea and land. A long, long bay ending in a long sand dune named Farewell Spit that separates the bay from the Tasman Sea.
Below Farewell Spit is a lovely stretch of coast that includes the beautiful Wharariki (Far-a-riki) beach and a nice walk over the hills to get to it.
