The Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo features some amazing dancing, emotion and imagery.  Each song tells a tale while striving to be a beautiful art form.  

              Maybe it was all the lava flowing to sea this year, but Pele, the Goddess of Fire was paid her due in chants and fierce dancing
